Batch Rendering

The batch list lets you assemble a set of jobs and render or queue them all in one click.

Building a batch

Add jobs to the batch list from the N-panel's Jobs section using the Add to Batch button next to each job. The batch list appears below the jobs list.

Jobs in the batch list are ordered — use the arrow buttons to reorder them. Remove individual jobs with × or clear the whole list with the trash icon.

Graph-sensitive batch list

The batch list is filtered by the active node graph when All Trees is off. Jobs from other graphs are still stored — they reappear when you switch to their graph, or when you turn All Trees on.

When All Trees is on, all batch entries are visible and each entry shows a small label with its source graph name.

Running a batch

Add All to Queue — sends all visible batch entries to the render queue. Respects the All Trees filter — only the entries currently visible in the batch list are sent.

Presets

Save the current batch list as a named preset for quick recall. Presets are shown as a compact dropdown (click it to see the saved list — click a name to load it, or the × next to a name to delete it):

  • Dropdown button — shows the active preset's name; click to open the list, click any entry to load it into the batch list
  • ✓ (checkmark) button — overwrites the active preset with the current batch list
  • + (add) button — opens a dialog to name and save the current batch as a new preset

Presets are saved in the .blend file.

Tip

Use presets to define named render passes — for example, a "Hero Shots" batch and a "Supporting Shots" batch — and switch between them quickly.
